Structural Engineer Full Time

Company urgently need a Structural Engineer for our Dublin office. This position is office-based, This position is office based and may require site visits if necessary on the project and attractive packages.

Responsibilities:

• Design and specify elements of large projects.
• Work closely with leading designers.
• Assist in the preparation of calculations, drawings and reports.
• Participate in meetings with architects and contractors.

Requirements:

• Structural Engineering or equivalent accredited degree.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in structural design of buildings for the Irish/UK construction market.
• Advanced analytical knowledge and understanding of technical principles.
• Experience in construction of steel and concrete structures according to Eurocodes, Irish Building Regulations, Codes of Practice and Engineering Standards.
• Membership in appropriate professional bodies.
• Structural Engineering layout software program along with Tekla Structural Designer, TEDDS, SCIA/ROBOT, AutoCAD, Revit.
• Proactive, a good communicator with the ability to work well with others in a multi functional project team.
• Excellent level of attention to detail and accuracy.
