Structural Engineer Full Time

Job Role:

This position will suit a practical and adaptable Civil or Structural Engineer who will be responsible for their own projects along with the co-ordination of a team of Structural Designers/Detailers.   The role will involve the successful delivery of a range of projects from inception to completion.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Structural Design &detailing, responsible for the development of structural designs, 3D fabrication models, part/assembly drawings and erection drawings
• Structural Design of building elements and structures including roof truss design
• Develop fabrication level information early in the design process
• Coordination and oversight of Consultant Engineers
• Resolution of design and development problems
• Ensure production of deliverables to programmeand budget
• Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior members of the team

Skills required:

• Must have an Honors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in civil or structural design to Eurocodes
• Knowledge & experience of current EN Standards and Irish Building Regulations requirements
• Experience in use of proprietary structural analysis and design software
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills with the ability to lead teams
• Commercial awareness and proven track record in managing projects
• Excellent level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Must have fluent English and be eligible to work in Ireland
• Must legible to work in Ireland (Must have European passport)
