Structural/Civil Engineer Contract

Responsibilities:

• Structural/Civil Engineer responsible for the design and structural analysis of new and/or existing communication structures for wireless telecommunication sites (towers, buildings, foundations and rooftops.)
• Reviews tower and rooftop structures and foundations.
• Analyzes tower and rooftop structures and foundations using hand-calculations, tower analysis software (RISA 3D and TNX Tower) and other accepted engineering methods.
• Coordinates with other engineers/designers, drafters, site acquisition and construction personnel in a team environment.
• Assist in the design of modifications for tower reinforcing, extensions, and foundations.
• Review shop drawings, structural drawings, and calculations.
• Performs site visits as needed to document field conditions for new sites and site modification projects.
• Manage structural calculations performed by manufacturer/engineering firms in house and ensure they are up to date and accurate.

Requirements:

• Experience with modeling, design, and analysis of vertical structures required.
• Telecommunication experience is preferred but not essential.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software.
• Demonstrated ability to work proficiently with Microsoft Office applications including: Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Good communication skills.
• EU passport holder / Eligible to work legally in Ireland is essential
