The Role:

Your position as Structural CAD Technician includes providing full office CAD Draughts person support to the Design Engineers. Ensuring that all drawing requirements are completed on time and in accordance with the associated deadlines. Ensuring that CAD responsibilities and ongoing requirements are planned, scheduled and managed.

Preparation of new drawing layouts, conceptual design and detailed design drawings. Ability to work with clients.

Preparing structural drawings for approval and tender and construction stages including GA concrete layouts, reinforcement layouts and bending schedules

Other detailing including structural steel, roof drainage and all detailing associated with buildings.

Ideally you will be offering guidance and mentoring of junior members of the team.

Qualification:

• Diploma in Structural or Civil Engineer or relevant industry experience.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• At Least 5 years of experience.
• Relevant AutoCAD qualifications
• Fully proficient in CADS RC.
• Experience of producing detail drawings of buildings and related structures.
• Strong planning and organisation skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong detailing skills is a must.
• Ability to work under pressure & under time constraints is a must.

• Excellent focus on client service and very strong communication skills.
