Senior Radiographer Full Time

An International award winning radiology service provider is currently seeking a Senior Radiographer to join their team of healthcare professionals. With a qualification in radiography and experience and/or a postgraduate qualification in MRI(Magnetic Resonance Imaging), you will be seeking an opportunity to work as part of a friendly and dynamic team in Ireland.

Job Summary:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Radiographer with at least 5 years post graduate experience to join the Diagnostics team. You will need to be confident with excellent communication skills. You will have the opportunity to work alongside an experienced team of Radiographers and undertake a varied workload. You will be a valued member of the team who truly has the opportunity to make a difference. This role would particularly suit a Radiographer who is interested in a progressive role with increased responsibility and an opportunity to really refine your skills.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Candidate must be Dynamic and highly motivated with the highest standards of clinical practice.
• Candidate must be able to work independently.
• Should be able to work within a team of radiographers in maintaining an excellent quality service in a busy and dynamic environment with a strong focus on patient care and service delivery.
• To be familiar with all national and international legislation and guidelines.
• Capable of working in nationwide as required.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Maintain a high standard of professional practice being competent to provide a broad range of radiographic techniques for examinations which are included within the scope of practice of the role.
• Skills associated with review and assessment of diagnostic images, highlighting any abnormalities that maybe present.
• Show an understanding of Clinical Governance and the importance of all aspects which contribute to a safe and high-quality diagnostic service.
• Minimum 5 years General Radiography experience and ideally with post grad experience in MRI &/or CT.
• CORU Registration is Must.
