Senior Mechanical Engineer Full Time

Role & Responsibilities:

For this role, they are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their ever-expanding team, someone who can lead, inspire, and mentor engineers within the team to produce world-class engineering. The aims and expectation of the successful candidate are as follows:

• Lead and manage full mechanical design on projects of all sizes always demonstrating client care.
• Liaise and collaborate with other offices for all matters as appropriate.
• Provide quality control for mechanical engineering projects across all offices.
• Management of both project teams and cross-functional teams within the organisational structure.
• Travel to client and project locations as required to represent the company for meetings/ surveys/training etc.

Education & Experience:

• Minimum degree level in Mechanical Engineering
• 6 + years building services consultancy design experience.
• Expert user of Microsoft Office Experience with thermal modelling, energy assessment, dynamic energy modelling software advantageous.
• Commercial sector knowledge and BIM experience a strong advantage.
• Chartership or working towards would be advantageous
• Expert knowledge and experience in the following mechanical design areas: Water Services, Heating/LTHW, HVAC, Fuel, above-ground drainage and BMS.
• Ability to lead projects internally and externally and be responsible for project performances.
