Revit Technician Full Time

Are you interested in working for a highly regarded Engineer Consultancy in Dublin? This well established and reputable firm are currently seeking a well-rounded Structural CAD/ Revit Technician with at least 4 years’ experience to work on a range of structural engineering projects with responsibility for the production of Revit based structural models. This position would suit an enthusiastic, well qualified and ambitious professional that is seeking  a challenging career opportunity .

Responsibilities:

• Liaison with the Engineers to determine drawings and details to be prepare.
• Co- ordination of drawings with the design team.
• Ensuring that drawings are prepared and that they are suitable for purpose.
• Verification of the final output and checking of drawings.
• Ensuring that drawings are prepared in line with Company standards.
• Understanding the company’s quality management system and applying it to all project work.

Experience & Attributes:

• The role requires an understanding of the principles of civil and structural engineering design and the ability to prepare drawings of all forms of building structures.
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience.
• Revit Proficiency essential.
• Proven use of AutoCAD 2D / CADS RC.
• Experience in preparing general arrangement design & reinforced concrete drawings.
• Higher Certificate in Civil/Structural Engineering (NFQ L6).
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with clients and other members of the team and ability to build strong work relations with colleagues and clients.
