Cad Technician Full Time

An established consulting firm offering both engineering consulting and project management expertise are seeking to expand their CAD team.  Having established a reputation of quality and excellence over the past 30 years, this firm offers a diverse range of clients within the pharmaceutical and industrial sectors.  Their projects are often of high value and significance and they are known to tailor their services to meet the expectations of their clients.  Not only is there an emphasis on client satisfaction but they also place great importance on the satisfaction and development of their team.  There is a great team atmosphere in their            office in Cork and finding the right individual who has both experience and ambition to grow is paramount for this role.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare complex and detailed high quality CAD drawings for buildings within pharmaceutical or industrial projects.
• Design internal layouts in compliance with Building Regulations
• Attend site meetings, carry out inspections and dimensional surveys when necessary
• Co-ordination / liaison with other multidisciplinary team members both internally and externally
• Maintain notes and other documentation for future reference.

Requirements

• Proficient in AutoCAD and have a good understanding of construction techniques, sequences of work and building regulations and products
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary team including design, project management and construction would be ideal
• Experience working within a quality focused environment as you will be performing the role within an ISO environment
• Must be eligible to work in Ireland with clear and concise spoken English.
• Self motivated and clear and concise communication skills
