CAD Technician Full Time
Our client is a leading and reputable construction firm who specialises within the field of offsite construction. They pride themselves in the quality, workmanship and design of their projects and have built a sustainable reputation within Ireland and overseas for their efforts.
Their projects range from large scale residential to commercial developments and their work always offers both variety and challenge to their team. They believe that their greatest asset is their staff and as a result they invest in both your development and your career path.
Due to a period of expansion, they are looking for a CAD Technician or a Junior CAD Trainee to join their team. The role will offer long term career prospects to grow and develop in a firm that has ambitious plans for the future.
Role:
- Producing architectural and construction drawings which will lead to the progression of fabrication detailing using AutoCAD
- Offering administrative support to the engineering team
- Preparation of materials and documentation packages for projects
- Liaising with other members of the project team as well as clients
- Ensuring adherence to quality control and design standards
- Compliance with health and safety standards
Requirements:
- Minimum of Level 5 qualification within construction or engineering
- A strong practical interest within construction and engineering
- Positive attitude with confident and clear communication skills.
- IT literate with good knowledge of AutoCAD and MS office
