Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Associate – Civil Engineering to join a Dublin-based team in a senior leadership capacity. This role involves leading the delivery of civil infrastructure projects from concept through to construction, while contributing to strategic decision-making and mentoring engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design and delivery of major civil infrastructure
- Oversee lifecycles from concept and planning to handover
- Collaborate with Directors, clients, and multidisciplinary teams
- Manage high-level client relationships and stakeholder engagement
- Ensure compliance with Irish standards and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with local authorities and utility providers
- Oversee site activities, inspections, and technical submissions
- Mentor and develop junior and mid-level engineers
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and commercial performance
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Chartered Engineer status (or equivalent)
- Minimum 10 years’ consulting engineering experience
- Proven track record delivering civil infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of Irish planning systems and standards
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and InfoDrainage
- Experience in multidisciplinary and BIM environments
- Strong commercial awareness and project management skills
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities
