Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join a Limerick-based team and take a leading role in the delivery of infrastructure design projects. This role offers the opportunity to lead projects, manage client relationships, and contribute to the successful delivery of site infrastructure from concept through to construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects from feasibility through planning and construction
- Design drainage (SuDS), water networks, and road systems
- Prepare engineering reports and flood risk assessments
- Develop detailed design packages and tender documentation
- Ensure compliance with Uisce Éireann, TII, and DMURS
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and statutory authorities
- Lead design team meetings and multidisciplinary collaboration
- Support construction stages and BCAR processes
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it)
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience with Irish projects
- Strong experience in drainage, water, and road design
- Deep knowledge of Irish engineering standards and regulations
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and InfoDrainage
- Civil 3D experience is highly advantageous
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Full driving licence
