Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer (Traffic & Roads) to join a growing Dublin-based team. This role offers the opportunity to lead traffic and road infrastructure projects from concept through to construction, while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the strategic development of the transport division.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of traffic and road infrastructure projects
- Prepare and review Traffic and Transport Impact Assessments
- Coordinate with clients, local authorities, and statutory bodies
- Oversee transport modelling using industry-standard tools
- Ensure compliance with Irish standards (TII, DMURS, NTA)
- Prepare technical reports and tender documentation
- Mentor and support junior engineers within the team
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Requirements
- Degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) or working towards it
- Minimum 10 years’ relevant Irish project experience
- Strong experience in road and junction design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD / Civil 3D
- Strong knowledge of Irish standards and regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Full driving licence
