Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join a Dublin-based team and take a leading role in the delivery of structural projects. This position offers the opportunity to lead design work, manage client relationships, and mentor engineers, with a clear pathway towards Associate level for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead structural projects from feasibility through to construction
- Deliver structural design and analysis across diverse project types
- Act as a key point of contact for clients and design teams
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for integrated delivery
- Prepare and review technical reports and tender documentation
- Ensure rigorous compliance with Eurocodes and relevant standards
- Carry out site inspections and act as Ancillary Certifier
- Mentor and support the development of junior engineers
Requirements
- Degree in Structural Engineering or related discipline
- Chartered Engineer status (or close to achieving)
- Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in structural design
- Strong experience across a range of structural projects
- In-depth knowledge of Eurocodes (IE/UK experience preferred)
- Proficiency in Tekla, Tedds, ETABS, or similar software
- Experience with BCAR processes is highly advantageous
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
