Water Engineer Full Time

They currently have a requirement for a Water Engineer to join their expanding team. The ideal candidate will be looking to further their career and gain invaluable experience in Water Engineering Services with a friendly office environment.

Job Role:

This is a permanent role and offers the successful candidate long-term opportunities for career development. The successful candidate will be involved in a diverse and challenging range of major Water Engineering projects.

Experience/Qualifications

• Level 8 Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or equivalent)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a design role in the water sector
• Excellent report writing and communication skills
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office;
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Ability to work in a team environment

Responsibilities:

• Developing design solutions using design software and other design tools.
• Preparing cost estimates, and report writing.
• Giving presentations and attending meetings.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines
• Assist in the management of projects
• Ensuring that work is completed to a deadline.
• Working in a Team-Environment.
• Attending training seminars and workshop.
• Working to achieving Chartered Engineering status.

Attributes & Skills

• Ability to communicate confidently and professionally.
• Experience in preparing technical specifications and contract documents.
• Working knowledge of software including InfoWorks, ArcGIS, & Microsoft Project.
• Experience in the design of sewer and water supply networks.
• Experience in the process design for Water and Wastewater Treatment.
