Our client is currently seeking a Structural Engineer to join a premier Design/Build Specialist Contractor with more than 25 years of experience in the delivery of Off-Site Engineered Building Systems throughout Ireland, the UK and Internationally.
If successful you will have the opportunity to be a part of growing Technical Department. Our Client is wanting to recruit a Senior Engineer who can progress quickly to a Senior Management position within the organisation.
The position will suit a motivated, practical and adaptable Structural Engineer with the ambition to work in a progressive and innovative environment; you will be responsible for the management of a bi-located team of Structural Designers & Detailers and the successful delivery of a range of projects from inception to completion.
Management and Supervision of a large Structural Design & Detailing team, you will be responsible for the development of Structural Designs, 3D fabrication models, part/assembly drawings and erection drawings.
Structural Design of building elements and structures.
Develop fabrication level information early in the design process.
Coordination and oversight of Consultant Engineers.
Resolution of design and development problems.
Ensure production of deliverables to programme and within budget.
Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior members of the team.
Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering.
At least 3 years postgraduate experience in Structural design of buildings to Eurocodes.
Knowledge & experience of current EN Standards and Irish Building Regulations requirements.
Experience in use of proprietary structural analysis and design software.
Excellent problem solving and communication skills with the ability to lead teams.
Commercial awareness and proven track record in managing projects.
Excellent level of attention to detail and accuracy
Must have fluent English and be eligible to work in Ireland
Good leadership and mentoring skills.
Ability to work under pressure & under time constraints is a must.
