Our client is currently seeking a Site Engineer / Supervisor to join a premier Design/Build Specialist Contractor with more than 25 years of experience in the delivery of Off-Site Engineered Building Systems throughout Ireland, the UK and Internationally.
If successful you will have the opportunity to be a part of growing Site Operations Team. Our client wishes to recruit a Site Engineer / Supervisor who can progress quickly to a Contracts Management position.
Key Accountabilities:-
The position will suit a motivated, practical and adaptable Site Engineer / Supervisor with the ambition to work in a progressive and innovative environment, you will be responsible for client liaison and the supervision of site based operations in multiple residential developments located throughout Ireland.
Role:
Assist and support the Site Operations management team in the on-site control of the erection of Off-Site Engineered Building Systems.
Setting-out of foundations and superstructure.
Surveying of as built construction, plotting surveys in AutoCAD and checking against construction drawings.
Supervision of subcontractors, ensuring quality control requirements are met and recorded in accordance with on-site policies and procedures
Adherence to Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Liaison with and provision of Technical Support to clients, subcontractors and other professional staff
Coordination of Health & Safety Risk Assessments and Safe System of Work Plans with main contractors
Key Requirements:-
Degree qualified in Civil or Structural or Construction Engineering or building technology.
At least 5 years of Experience.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
Proven experience in a Setting-Out and proficiency in the use of Total Station equipment.
Strong IT skills including practical experience in the use of AutoCAD.
Possess effective communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both on own initiative and within team environments.
Must have fluent English and be eligible to work in Ireland.
Good leadership and mentoring skills.
Ability to work under pressure & under time constraints is a must.
