Senior Project Manager Full Time

Due to their continuous success they are looking for a ‘Senior Project Manager’ to play a key role in the management, planning, designing and implementation of diverse and challenging range of infrastructure projects. This role would suit an ambitious and evolving Senior Project Manager who has the ability to

take a project from start to finish and enjoys leading a team.

Job Role:

This is a permanent role and offers the successful candidate long-term opportunities for career development. The successful candidate will be involved in a diverse and challenging range of projects in Ireland, particularly in the water, energy and transport sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Management/supervision of the preparation of statutory consent applications and associated reports including, e.g. EIARs, AAs, NISs, FRAs.
• Provide leadership in statutory consent applications for large scale public infrastructure.
• Work as part of and support cross disciplinary teams working in preliminary design, statutory consent and construction stage projects.
• Client relationship management.
• Projects management & supervision
• Management of junior staff and mentoring them.

Requirements:

• Level 8 Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Ecology or Town/Land-Use Planning.
• Hold Chartered Status and membership of a relevant professional organisation (MIEEM, MIEMA, MRUP, MIPI, CIWEM, Engineers Ireland)
• Minimum of 6 years experience in relevant field.
• Strong knowledge of planning legislation, policy and practice as it relates to the delivery of infrastructure in the power, water or transport sectors.
• Have a proven track record in securing planning consent for infrastructure projects
