Does working for one of the long-established consulting firms in Saudi appeal to you? This firm covers markets such as civil, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering and they provide a high level of technical and management solutions. The consultancy has been in operation in for many years and has created a reputation of being a market leader in their field. Due to their steady growth and having recently secured some highly challenging projects they now wish to recruit a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their expanding team in Saudi Arabia.

Job Role:

• Monitor and review construction drawings, calculations and shop drawings in respect to the mechanical engineering discipline.
• Review the Construction Contractor’s site generated data in respect to mechanical engineering works.
• Ensure that all Risks and Opportunities associated with the activities under his control are identified, communicated to the Project Manager and that the necessary risk mitigation and opportunity realisation actions are identified and implemented.
• Prepare monitoring and surveillance reports and liaise with the PM in respect of the report’s findings.

Experience/Qualifications:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering is a MUST.
• Ideally Chartered Status would be a bonus.
• The Saudi Council of Engineering membership or equivalent.
• Understanding of engineering, design and quality standards.
• Produce detailed blueprints and make any necessary corrections.
• Ability to apply technical knowledge and expertise efficiently to resolving problems without the need to rely on others.
• Be able to work in close harmony in a mixed EE / SN workforce.
