They currently have a vacancy for a Senior Environmental Scientist.  This role is responsible for performing environmental tasks to ensure efficient and accurate project development, permitting, reporting, and construction. Candidate will be responsible for the preparation of Environmental Impact Assessments.  You will need to have strong communication skills and have a proven track record within this area of expertise.  This company is passionate about what they want to achieve and finding the right people to join the group is paramount and key to their success.

Role:

Preparation of Environmental Impact Assessments

Supervision of remedial contractors and environmental service providers

Practical knowledge of various federal environmental regulations

Plan and implement environmental field work such as monitoring well installation, groundwater monitoring and due diligence assessments

Interaction, meeting and Reporting Client

Coordinate and manage project tasks

Conducting environmental planning analyses and assessments

Ability to interact and communicate successfully at all levels and across diverse cultures

The Successful candidate will have:

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Required degree in environmental science, natural resources, environmental engineering, or the like;

• Proven ability to work as part of a team and a willingness to learn and develop;
• Strong problem solving abilities and aptitude

Knowledge/Skills:

• Strong technical ability;

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Strong capability in MS Office (MS Word and MS Excel in particular, MS Project desirable);
• Capacity to self-motivate;
• Ability to work within a team;
• Demonstrated learning ability.
