Senior Environmental Consultant Full Time

Role :

Environmental Consultant required to manage a small but very well established environmental department consisting of 3-4 consultants. If you are looking to take on a role where you are involved in industrial & discharge licensing, auditing, due diligence, monitoring & sampling noise & soil, as well as leading & mentoring a team. This role offers great scope for you to be involved in both business and team development.

Qualification & Experience

• Degree Qualified in relevant Environmental or Engineering discipline.
• At least 5 years’ experience in an industrial or regulatory environmental role or environmental consultancy.

Responsibilities

• Preparing quotations and tender documents for works
• Prepare templates for client use, eg waste registers, monthly/ weekly analysis
• Proofread consultant reports & provide feedback.
• Preparing appropriate assessments screening for dwellings, schools, agricultural developments etc.
• Site visits, identify habitats and potential pathways.
• Drafting industrial Emissions licensing applications, ELRA reports & DMPs.
• Preparing annual reports.
• Due Diligence.
• Waste permits.
• Monitoring & Sampling.
• Assist with preparing business plan for the department including identifying future opportunities.
