An exciting opportunity has arisen in a high profile Engineering and Architectural Consultancy firm in the Middle East who are looking for a strong Architectural Manager to represent the company within their multidisciplinary team.  The firm covers markets such as architectural, structural, master planning, MEP, cost engineering and construction management and they provide a high level of technical and design solutions to organisations all over the Middle East. The Consultancy has been established for many years and their goal is to continue to offer a high quality design and build solutions to their clients.  They are considered one of the best in their class within architecture and working for this company will offer an excellent opportunity for any Architectural Manager who wants to be challenged and utilise their creative and technical talents.

Responsibilities:

• Management and leadership on all projects from a design perspective
• Reporting to Director on the progress of current projects and working on the design and design management of large scale projects.
• Project management and leadership on all design aspects and managing the design team.
• Design and implementation of scope, time and risk assessment
• Ensuring that quality control and quality assurance is adhered to.
• Management of procurement and project control
• Offering advice and leadership to design projects and problems on a daily basis
• Overseeing and covering all design disciplines and managing a multidisciplinary team
• Attending client meetings and offering advice when required
• Manage and deliver of current challenging project as well as working on new projects on line to commence.

Requirements:

• Ideally you will have around 15 years or more experience working in a consultancy or architectural environment and at least 3 years working in a similar management capacity.
• Strong leadership, communication and presentation skills are essential
• Degree qualified is essential
• A passion for good architecture and a background and an ability to see things through to the finish line.
